Bailey looked deeply into Fennel's eyes. Rubbing the sides of his temples with her claws she searched deeply into his subconscious. After a few moments she let go of his head rubbing her own temples with her eyes closed. Fennel skeptically looked at Bailey while Ava paid close attention to her movements. "I have done it!" Bailey said lifting her arms, opening her eyes and turning back to Fennel, "I have seen into your deepest thoughts and here is what they are" she announced pausing for dramatic effect. Ava seemed filled with anticipation while Fennel merely seemed filled with annoyance. "You think I'm amazing, in fact the only regret you can think of in your life so far is not spending more time with me!" Bailey finished folding her arms still looking at Fennel smugly. Fennel let out a loud audible laugh before trying his best to stifle his obvious amusement. Ava gave Bailey a concerned look only to witness a growing excitement in Bailey's widely smiling face. "I DID IT!" Bailey yelled lifting her arms in the air in victory, "I MADE HIM LAUGH!" she gloated before running off proclaiming her victory to any wyngling or wyngro she happened upon.

In the midst of her victory run Bailey ran head first into another wyngling knocking them both to the ground. Bailey quickly recovered, too excited to feel the pain of her collision, to see a small wyngling she was unfamiliar with with tears in their eyes curling up with fright. Guilt welling up inside her Bailey was quick to hurry to the wyngling's side, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt or scare you" she said trying to pat the wyngling only to have her flinch away at her claw. Bailey took a moment to think before her next move, suddenly coming up with an idea. She shifted herself onto her hind legs holding a claw up to the air as if testing to see the direction of the wind. "I think I know exactly what you need!" she said smiling at the wyngling with a wink before running off into the nook. The small wyngling hefted itself off the ground eager to run off only to find that Bailey had returned to her, now with a strange bag. "I show you a wonderful piece of clothing that will solve all of your worries my friend!" Bailey announced opening the ziplock bag and fishing around in it for a moment before pulling out a white sock with blue stripes similar in color to the toes and tail of the small wyngling. "They're called socks!" Bailey explained handing the sock to the other wyngling, "They're like mittens for your hinders, but I like using them for all sorts of stuff. You can use them for collecting things, or cleaning stuff, or just as mittens for your fronts." Bailey continued wiggling her claws to demonstrate her point. The wyngling eyed Bailey skeptically looking at the sock she had offered her. "Go on take it!" Bailey insisted, "It matches those pretty toes of yours!" The wyngling seemed embarassed at the mention of her toes but ultimately ended up taking the sock. "Y...you really think my toes are pretty?" the wyngling asked Bailey timidly examining the sock. "Well yeah!" Bailey said matter-of-factly, "You don't think so?" she asked confused. "W...well the other wynglings-" the wyngling began before getting cut off by Bailey, "Oh don't mind them some of them are just grumps" Bailey insisted before gesturing to where Fennel had been sitting, "Just like my friend Fennel over there-" Bailey began before noticing the spot she had been gesturing to had only contained a confused looking Ava. "Oops looks like he ran off to play hide and seek again" Bailey said, "I swear if I didn't know any better I'd think he was avoiding me."

Bailey shook her head before darting away from the confused looking wyngling. A few seconds later she appeared back in front of the poor bewildered wyngling with one of her arms outstretched. "My name is Bailey by the way! What's yours?" "B-Beach" the wyngling said hesitantly grabbing Bailey's claw. Bailey shook it vigorously causing Beach to shake involuntarily, "Well its nice to meet you buddy! I'll see you around!" Bailey concluded pardoning herself before running off one last time. Beach looked back down at the sock, comparing its color to her own paws, "...buddy?" she asked herself with a small smile sneaking its way onto her face as she wiped away the last of the tears from her face.
